SITABANI FOREST RESERVE CORBETT- UTTARAKHAND

This is not part of Corbett national park but is a wildlife reserve. A beautiful forest with a metalled road running through a part of it. The gates open at 6 am. An early visit would enhance the chances of sighting wildlife. However, as this is outside the demarcated area for Corbett park, wildlife sighting chances are much lower. However, quite a few types of birds can be spotted, so carrying a pair of binoculars is advisable. Most of the hotels around the area offer safaris, and there are no restrictions on the number of cars that can enter. This is a wonderful place. Located at a hilltop near Corbett national park in the middle of a dense forest full of wildlife like tigers, birds etc this is a place for nature lovers who love adventures in the quiet of a forest.

CORBETT FALL CORBETT- UTTARAKHAND

CORBETT FALL CORBETT- UTTARAKHAND

The fall is well barricaded to restrict people from bathing. So, if you are thinking to take bath in this fall then your plan will be unsuccessful. There was a time when Corbett Fall was a great picnic spot, people would enjoy the Fall and would bathe in the cold water falling from the rock onto their head. You can drive yourselves to enter there, there is no requirement of any forest safari car. The place is almost virgin till date. The forest department is managing the facility with the good balance of conservation and tourism. The way to reach the fall is awesome having the dense range of Shorea robusta. I think it would be a good place for birds sitting.
